Episode 26 Christmas 2015 Edition

It's the most wonderful time of the year! A time when parents collectively lie to their children about the existence of a grown man who spies on them year round and breaks into their houses. A time when eco-consciousness is thrown out the window as millions of trees are slaughtered for the sole purpose to stand guard over presents wrapped in the skin of their fallen brethren. A time when children will cry because they were not given a pony. It's Christmas time! Hosts Seth and Doug honor this magical time with cherished yuletide memories from their youth. You will be amazed to hear the lengths that Seth's parents went through to win over the love of him and his brother. You will be equally amazed to hear the fury incited in Doug's parents brought on by decorating the tree. From Baltimore accents to renting movies at the grocery store, Seth and Doug cover all the holiday essentials. What was the worst gift Doug ever gave his father? Find out on this non-denominational episode of Rip It!

Whether it's paddling down creeks with the chosen people, enjoying time with Russians in their underwear, or swerving around race tracks at a face melting 45 MPH, your hosts wistfully relay the highs (enjoying new hobbies) and lows (witnessing a murder) of the hottest months of the year. What pleasant, bucolic outdoor activity sends Seth into a furious tirade, the likes of which this podcast has never seen? Find out on this sweltering episode of Rip It!

Rip It! Episode 22 The Summertime Episode

Great poets, from William Shakespeare to William Smith, have composed odes to the time of year when school is out, fun is in, and humidity is unbearable. Hear riveting tales of using (and avoiding using) the bathroom when hiking in the woods. Rip It! Episode 21 The Flula Borg Episode

For this week's episode, hosts Seth and Doug welcome Flula Borg to the studio. Despite his name, Flula is not a member of a robotic colonization enclave from the Star Trek universe, rather he is a film star, YouTube personality, and musical genius. Flula enlightens Seth and Doug with stories of his childhood in Germany, and no conversation about Germany is complete without touching on everyone's least favorite Reich (The Third), and everyone's least favorite instrument (The Tuba). Listen in as Seth teaches Flula about the latest innovations in beat boxing, and Flula teaches Seth and Doug how Germans impersonate American accents. How fast has Flula driven on The Autobahn? Find out in this star studded episode of Rip It!

Rip It! Episode 20 The Cars and Crooks Edition

Hosts Seth and Doug celebrate a podcast milestone, delivering their 20th episode with little fanfare as they delve into the painful world of jury duty and rental cars. While the two initially seem like entirely unrelated topics, the similarities become clear as endless waiting, ambiguous rules, and uncertainty as to who is the victim and who is the perpetrator come into play. Can Jury Foreman Doug look the accused in the eye? Find out in this landmark 20th edition of Rip It!

Rip It! Episode 19 The Grocery Store Edition

Hosts Seth and Doug welcome comedian, writer, and super market enthusiast Steve Soroka into the studio. With very little prompting, Steve is happy to launch into an hour long mission to correct unacceptable behavior when shopping at and working in your local grocery. From line etiquette to frozen pizza, Steve's seemingly endless list of annoyances are on display for all to see, just like Boars Head meats in a deli case.  Is seafood salad a main or a side? Find out in this edition of Rip It!

Rip It! Episode 18 The Listener Edition

Hosts Seth and Doug turn to their intrepid listeners for topics of discussion on this emergency edition of Rip It! Fueled by an abnormally busy week of audience interaction, and the equally important realization that their listeners are as interested in discussing dumb things as they are, Seth and Doug cover topics as varied as Tesseracts and Wooly Rhinoceroses. Seth also digs deep into Doug's week, revealing a botched trip to the UPS store, and the surprising origins of a sinister phone call.

Rip It! Episode 17 The Time Edition

Prepare to have your mind blown as Seth and Doug tackle the complexities of time. From the Apple Watch to the veracity of the film "Interstellar", your hosts stumble and stammer through the 4th dimension, and put the "special" in "special relativity". Rip It! Episode 16 The Haircuts and Hot Sauce Edition

Hosts Seth and Doug take rambling to new heights in this free wheeling episode. Listen in as Doug recalls the sound effect that haunts clumsy Cousin Oliver on the Brady Bunch and disgusts Seth with a tale of a mole removal. What is the worst way to describe a desired hair style? Can you decide who is deserving of a viking funeral? Seth offers up his suggestion in this morbidly hilarious action packed episode.

RIP IT! Episode 14 The Riveting Edition

Hosts Seth and Doug wonder if they're boring as they talk about subjects such as smart fridges, bathroom etiquette, and purchasing t-shirts. What starts out as big news from one of our hosts devolves into ramblings covering apartment moldings, breath sprays, and ultimately, masturbation. Thrill as they discuss parallel parking... Marvel at their observations about milk men... Be astounded as they don't know anything about the internet. All on this riveting edition of Rip It!

RIP IT! Episode 13 Before Technology Edition

Hosts Seth and Doug touch upon a simpler time. A time when you could wipe out in public and not become an Internet sensation. A time when the world didn't know what everyone was eating for lunch. A time before text became a verb. Listen in as they discuss distant memories like answering machines and land lines. It's not all phones though. They also discuss the shame of Dungeons and Dragons, the horror of early web design, and the joy of (non-masturbatory) playing with yourself. RIP IT! Episode 12 Pet Peeves Edition

Hosts Seth and Doug delve deep into the things that piss them off. Before they unleash their torrent of weird annoyances, they discuss some normal things, such as what they're liking this week and what songs one should listen to while riding down mountains in soap box cars.

RIP IT! Episode 08 We Don't Need No Education

Hosts Seth and Doug are joined by Kirby, an ex inner-city teacher. They discuss the (occasional) joys and (numerous) perils of preparing students to become our country's future leaders. Topics touched upon include the obvious problems of being a 22 year old female teaching a class full of 17 year old boys, the less obvious perks of catching up with former students later in life, and the ineffectiveness of using sawdust to clean up vomit. Also featured is music from Kirby's band, Kirby V and the Man.

RIP IT! Episode 07 The West is the Best

Hosts Seth and Doug relish their time together as they reunite and record their first podcast in Seth's new West Coast home. Topics discussed include East Coast versus West Coast politeness, prairie dogs, and how many times it's appropriate to stop to pee on a long road trip. Seth also introduces a new segment and carefully crafted theme song with, "Crazy Thoughts", and how a long drive can get you thinking them.
